ABOUT US

The GFWC Sisters of Service Woman’s Club (SOSWC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), one of the world’s oldest and largest Women’s service organizations;  an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. We were organized in May 2020, located in Tallahassee, FL. Our statewide organization is GFWC of Florida, and we are a part of District 3. 

We are a nonprofit service organization dedicated to improving our local communities through volunteer services with a special focus on the concerns of the most underserved groups: youth, senior citizens, and veterans.  We attend to the community’s diverse needs through service projects, fundraising, education, leadership, mentorship, and friendship. We share a passion for the community, volunteering in Leon and Gadsden counties, and having fun.  If you’re interested in connecting to your community, meeting new friends, and ready to have fun, GFWC SOSWC is for you!
